Description

So, this took me WAY too long. Flying animations are SO hard.
Anyways, this is a very late contest prize for ~coffeenaicha for winning my design contest. She re-designed this character, Grissom, for me ([link]). I was really happy with it! And apparently so was she, because she asked me to animate it flying as part of her winnings!!

Enjoy!!

First off, the details and colors on this wolf are amazing, I especially love the wings and the fur, and the pallet you chose to do the shading.
My first small suggestion (and this is mostly preference), is that the outline of your wolf isn't completely black. It can take extra time, but sometimes changing black to a dark color that will match the part around it (for example, around the light blue fur you might have a dark blue out line) will not look so extreme.
My final suggestion is on the animation. The animation on the wings are amazing, but the movement of the wolf is very choppy. My suggestion would be to add more slides (or layers) or to not move the wolf as much. Also the wolf looks like it's bouncing, not like its attached to an elegant pair of wings.
I also think you could have done a little more movement on the basic wolf body (moved the paws, tail, legs, head).
Overall, I love the drawing and think you have an amazing talent in pixeling, but I feel you could have put a little more effort into the animation.
